Iowa BEST award is designed to recognize educators who are active in
their community and in their profession. Do you Belong to
organizations and take leadership roles? Do you Excel by
presenting information or publishing articles? Do you Study
in order to be more informed? Do you Travel so that you
experience new trends and current practices?
This is an award in which you review a rating form, itemize those
areas in which you have participated, and if you reach 100 points or
more—you will be recognized at the IBEA State Convention. Notification
will also be made to your school and local paper. This award is
something you might earn once or several times based upon your continued
year-to-year involvement.
